ATI HD4550 Fedora 19 Problems Installing

Forgive me, English is not my native language.

I'm having a problem installing the ATI driver already used several articles without success. After the driver is installed it is not my hardware.

fglrx no devices detected

video card: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV710 [Radeon HD 4350/4550] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

Kernel: 3.11.7

Xorg: X.Org X Server 1.14.3

Which driver version are you trying to install? Also you might glimpse something from the log /urs/share/ati/fglrx-install.log

Can you give us the result of the command glxinfo | grep rend?

From my answer here :

You can't install the proprietary driver Catalyst, the Radeon cards up to the HD4000 family (included) are not supported anymore (since at least one year).

But you shouldn't worry, the default open source driver for your driver is pretty good. Maybe one of the best open source driver available so far. And you will not have to worry everytime you install an update...

The driver tried unsuccessfully community. Here is the log!

glxinfo | grep rend
direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose) OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV710
