Hi,

I'm new to fedora. I'm not sure how to handle the following: My F19 is up and running very well. Virtualbox (4.2.18) is also running smooth and without probs. I saw that VB has reached 4.3. I wonder if 4.2 will be upgraded upstream or do I have to upgrade it myself? If so: how is the best way to upgrade to 4.3?

Thnx for reading and / or answering

kage

If you have Virtualbox repository configured and enabled, when you do a yum update, eventually your Virtualbox will be updated.

Remind that, it may take some time, to the packages to reach the repository.

I give you here the repository configuration:

/etc/yum.repos.d/virtualbox.repo

[virtualbox]
name=Fedora $releasever - $basearch - VirtualBox
baseurl=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/fedora/$releasever/$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc
