I've been working on this problem for a while now. I've tried the suggestions in the forums but to no avail. I went onto Broadcom's website and downloaded a tarball and the accompanying readme file. According to the readme file, the driver is suppose to be part of the repository but I can't find it. Any suggestions?

Here's an update: It seems to be working now. I'm not sure what I did to get it to work, though. One of the things I did last night was in terminal I issued the following commands: su- NetworkManager restart

It didn't seem to do anything last night but when I got up this morning and turned it on, the wireless just came up. Is it possible that doing these steps and rebooting is what solved the problem?

I tried going to http://wireless.kernel.org. I couldn't find a driver there.

Have you tried the driver from RPMFusion?

Have you tried the website wireless.kernel.org? If not, go to wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Drivers/ and do a search there for broadcom 43224. With any luck, you should be able to get the necessary drivers there.
