I have installed PIDORA on my Raspberry pi and I am wondering if PIDORA supports USB/Serial communications.

I have hooked my Raspberry pi up to the arduino and have added the user to the /dev/serial and other group (I have lost my reference), but when I go into the arduino IDE and try to communicate with the arduino the tools > serial port option is greyed out.

Additionally the first time I ran arduino IDE it requested I add the user to lock group (which I did and the error went away).

I went to the arduino forum and they suggested I come here.... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
