terminal transparency

I am working on fedora 15 32bit. i want make my terminal transparent but i am helpless. I have also adjusted the transparency in background options but only colour fades up and is still opaque but not transparent. Please help.

It might be a bug. Fedora 15 isn't getting bug fixes anymore. You should update to a current version of Fedora.

Seems like this feature (or gimmick depending on how you want to describe it), has been removed.

All my love to gnome, but in my last few years of using it, I have to agree with the sentiments in this bug report. The first response by Christian Persch, is a typically example of what everyone is complaining about.
