Hey folks, first let me say that I'm a complete newbie when it comes to fedora and linux in general, so please bare with me.

I currently own a penixx mx-2000 gaming mouse , and apparently it's not sported by the current version of the kernel (at the moment of writing this 3.10.11-200.fc19.x86_64). I've been trying to look for a solution online, however unsuccessful. I'm told the 3.11 kernel will support the mouse, but Fedora 20 (which is listed to use the 3.11 kernel) isn't scheduled to release till Dec/03/2013. So I'm trying to look for a solution or workaround.

Kernel update policy in Fedora is different from other packages; the newest version is released to all supported versions at pretty much the same time. 3.11.x will be available on F19 if the pattern holds, possibly even before F20 is released!
