You can use dd to clone your entire disk, but this is a clone and will clone the entire disk, not just your files. There isn't a simple way of just creating an ISO of your installation. In order for it to boot, the boot partition etc. have to be cloned exactly. It might be better to backup your data using a backup tool rather than your entire Fedora installation.

I think what you want to do is a complete backup of your current fedora installation.

If this is the case then the best and relatively simple way to do it is to use Clonezilla. Here's a tutorial on how to use it. You can use it to back up specific partitions or your entire disks. Just make sure to ASK someone knowledgeable on which of your partitions you need to backup to make your system restorable.

You start it by using live media (Live CD or Live USB). I recommend you get yourself an image of PartedMagic which includes Clonezilla and has other useful tools, and it's a complete Linux system so in those black hours you can even use it to browse the internet and access your files.

I used Clonezilla to backup and restore my system tens of times. It's blazingly fast the backup images are small.

Warning: With Clonezilla you can't restore a backup image of a partition of bigger size than your target partition, even though the data would easily fit. So, for example, you have a 10 GB partition with 2 GB of data and you back it up. You will not be able to resotre the image to a partition that is smaller than 10 GB.
