Hello friends, for last couple of weeks, I cannot access facebook chat using empathy. If I add facebook(fb) via goa, goa is accepting it, but empathy is giving authentication failure. I have also tried to add fb at empathy directly, where it is giving network error.
I can successfully add fb to pidgin, but empathy is giving problem. Any help?

I’m also seeing this. Please post the bug when you’ve filed it! Also see bug#990312, especially the last comment. It looks like it’s already fixed up-stream, so Fedora need to pick up the patch.
It's working for me now. I deleted and readded the Facebook account in goa. gnome-online-accounts-3.8.3-1.fc19.x86_64
It’s still not working for me, with the same GOA version. I tried re-adding the account.
I know that this doesn't sovle the bug, but if you manually add your user account to empathy you will be able to connect to facebook. (use your username not the email-adress!)

also, I have tried to delete my whole empathy user files and restart, but I do not have any .mission-control/ directory, as given in https://wiki.gnome.org/Empathy/FAQ#Where_does_Empathy_save_files_.28accounts.2C_logs.2C_configuration.29.3F
I can confirm that Facebook chat isn't working. Can you please file a bug, or see if one is already filed?
