I recently installed Fedora 19 on my Dell inspiron laptop. I am not able to get my wifi to work. My wired connection works well but I just cannot find any interface that lets me enable Wi-fi connection. I do not even see any tab with the name of wireless connections in my Network Settings.

use a distro with an older kernel or perhaps try Ubuntu 12.04 LTS until wifi drivers are updated with the latest kernel.

You may want to look into rfkill if your adapter isn't working but should be (as in you yummed in the proper wifi driver modules). I had a friend's lappy that needed this for some reason.
