how to install AMD Catalyst driver in fedora Jam 19

Hi, I followed this: forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=155503

to install the amd catalyst but then on reboot I am getting a black screen... I had to use 'nomodeset' & 'no splash' to install in the first place...

Using Radeon 6xxx driver ! What am i doing Wrong? Please help, first time user of Fedora !

Now, without Catalyst it seems i have booted Windows98 !

Also, how to upgrade KDE version? There were 400 updates, still was not getting KDE 4.10 !

Using Ubuntu Studio n would love to give Fedora Jam a try...n keep it because of default KDE!

use fedora utils http://satya164.github.io/fedorautils/ or easylife http://easylifeproject.org/ to install amd catalyst driver

Update the kernel and install kernel development libraries/headers:

$ sudo yum update kernel

$ sudo yum install kernel-devel

$ sudo yum install gcc

$ sudo init 6

# dowload you driver here http://support.amd.com/en-us/download than execute:

$ sudo sh amd-catalyst-xxxxxxx.run

# graphical install
