I've installed it, managed to get through to the desktop UI, but when I ctrl alt f2 to shell, log in and attempt to use jed and other tools they aren't there.. how do I install the necessary files I need to develop code, compile, and edit.
Also, how do I set it so that it loads directly to text login and bypasses the winblows desktop UI altogether, I'm old school and don't like the graphical interface.

I have experienced similar problem with Package Collections with the transaction "Pending" indefinitely. The only responses that I received were: 1. Someone experiencing the same behaviour 2. Remark about not providing information 3. Yet someone else noting it works on their installation. My suspicion is: a conflict with another program or hardware related. I don't know how to proceed. Fedora 18 works in this regard.
To add to this, I've tried Anaconda using the PackageKit application, I checked what I wanted, hit apply, and it sent them over to pending and it's been "waiting in the queue" for almost an hour with no visible signs that it is doing anything.
