Hi, I just created a virtual machine using VBox with the awesome and brand new Fedora 19. But, when I install the VBox Guest Additions and reboot, the system does not continue after booting and loading the proper services, showing me a static black screen.

My temporary solution for this is that I reboot my machine in runlevel 3, and delete the guest additions by means of the uninstallation script found at /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions or so, and then reboot. Is there a solution which doesn't imply to uninstall the guest additions?

Thanks beforehand.

I don't use vbox, so I'm not sure if this is appropriate enough for an answer, but try installing the open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-desktop packages from the fedora repos and investigating their contents a little.
