I have F19 with latest updates, i have enabled again testing repos performed yum distro-sync. After that i have installed Debian, but now when i try to enter to fedora the system freeze on boot. I have tried installing the grub from ubuntu but keep freezing.

The last entry from systemd is:

reached target basic system

Why you enabled testing repos and then did yum distro-sync? The two actions seem kinda inconsistent...

solved: entering in rescue mode opening a terminal

 su
 yum-config-manager --disable rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing
 yum-config-manager --disable updates-testing
 yum-config-manager --disable rpmfusion-free-updates-testing

 yum distro-sync

i have a error with shim unsigned so i deleted

  yum remove shim-unsigned
 yum distro-sync

but i have to perform again yum distro-sync because the kernel 3.5 was not installed in /boot dir

then

grub-update

and the system works fine now

Thank you for this, my system froze with the same issues as above- this fixed the problem...

It was obviously some issue with the original update... but I must admit I did enjoy using the ol' console again...
