Black screen on Fedora 17
Hello,
Currenly I'm using Fedora 17 and it seems something went wrong with xorg on the last update. When I rebooted my computer, I got the "Cannot Open Font File True" error in a black screen after Fedora logo finished loading. I could solve the font error, but I still got a completely black screen after the Fedora bubble loads.
Looking into the Internet, I found the xorg may be messed up. I had to reinstall X Window System, xorg-x11-dvr and xorg-x11-intel (and other similar stuff) to get this working... a bit. I still got the black screen, but now at least I can do 'startx' after loading a user using Fedora shell (trough F2). Doing it this way, I don't have any problemas using my computer, but I really need to get ride of the black screen. I need to access the normal Fedora login screen.
Any ideas?
