Extract frames from mkv videos

I've got a video in matroska (mkv) format. The video is in 1080p quality but my screen is limited to a 1366px when I need 1920px

Is there any application (I don't care if it's on terminal or in graphical format) that can read the .mkv file to get frames from it in the real quality (1920px)?
