My mac osx motherboard fried. I removerd the hard drive and mounted it with fedora 15 livecd, to another computer. I want to copy the files off, but cant. It says I dont have permission to do so.. please help..

You can open a terminal, type su and be dropped into a root empowered shell. That should let you copy whatever you need.
