Removing Fedora from Triple Boot Mac

I had a mac running macOS and dual booted Windows 10 using bootcamp. Today, I triple booted Fedora, but it turns out I need ubuntu for what I need. I am trying to uninstall Fedora and repartition for ubuntu, but I am lost on how remove Fedora. I've looked around for a few hours now and haven't found any answers that have helped. I used fedora media writer to get Fedora running if that is important. Can someone help me?

You can delete Linux partitions under Mac OS with Disk Utility; but you'll first have to reformat/erase the Linux partitions as FAT before it will let you "minus" them. Give them an easy label/name like "linux-part1, linux-part2 etc) Then when you install Ubuntu it'll be easy to pick the right partitions.

Should you run into issues, the Apple message boards may provide better assistance. LOTS of Mac users use Linux (Apple boards), but not as many Fedora users use Macs :-) (here)

Disk Utility is quarky, but necessary to be a part of the process when setting up a dual/trip boot mac.

Just install Ubuntu and format the partitions to use with it.

Boot Fedora, run sudo blkid and post the output. If it was a default Fedora installation, there will be three partitions you can delete/reuse with the Ubuntu installer. Fedora's installer on Macs creates a faux-EFI System partition that's HFS+ formatted, about 200MB, a 500MB-1GB boot that's ext4, and the rest of the space is a single LVM partition.

Is your system efi or bios? Does your fedora installation have a seperate boot partition or is it monolithic? Does it have any other defined partitions such as /home etc? Does it use lvm or just ordinary partitions? If efi just remove the fedora directory in /boot/efi/EFI create a bootable usb drive containing the ubuntu iso (use fedora media writer its really cool) and then at the ubuntu installer choose manual partitioning and assign the previously fedora partitions to your new ubuntu system(remember to tick the reformat option). If bios its the same as above but you dont need to remove anything in any efi partition. If you use lvm you might want to rename the volume group containing the fedora logical volumes.Check vgrename,lvrename etc(not really necessary) BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS to use MANUAL partitioning in ubuntu installer and if at any stage you feel uncomfortable just abort the installation before starting and do some more homework... In a nutshell just assign the fedora partitions to your new ubuntu installation remembering to reformat. :)
