Live cd install vs regular?

asked 2019-03-31 15:59:55 -0500

I installed fedora 29 workstation with live usb.

Is there any difference? Do you get more complete software with the regular installation? If so, how do I get what might be missing?

You already installed Fedora, there is nothing missing regardless of the way how you installed it.

Though I think I do not fully understand your question. Fedora comes as a Live system. You can run the live version and then install or install the system without running the live version. The result at the end will be the same, a running Fedora system.

A difference would be if you choose the net install or server install where you decide what software to install.
