Firefox won't clear history on exit

On Fedora 29, Firefox 65.0.1 and couple of it's previous versions (I think since 63 or 64) doesn't clear history/cache on exit. The option with custom settings to clear selected items (history, cache, passwords) on exit just doesn't work. I can clear the cache manually. Any ideas?

rpm -rf ~/.cache/mozilla

ln -s /tmp/ ~/.cache/mozilla

clears the cache during shutdown/reboot cause /tmp is in the RAM only. and maybe saves some wear levelling on SSD's too

Explore: .cache/mozilla/firefox/.....default/cache2/

in your personal home directory.

Thank you, but by "I can clear the cache manually" I mean that I'm able to do it. I want it to be automatic in Firefox. It's still a bug.
