I've installed fresh fedora and tried to login using domain user from FreeIpa.

I was able to login without any issues but soon after logout/reboot i am getting 'gnome-initial-setup' all over again.

Is it mandatory to create local user outside domain ? (is it a bug or a feature?)

Anyone had similar issue?

Add the following parameter/value to /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-initial-setup-first-login.desktop

X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=false

This is not a bug, but desired behavior. The cause is that Gnome is not finding this file ~/.config/gnome-initial-setup-done for the users. It is created after the initial setup is run. So it assumes either the user hasn't ever run the setup or their home directory was deleted, whatever. And the configuration should be done again.
