Slow system at startup and shutdown

asked 2019-03-09 15:24:26 -0600

The system works, but I have boring slowdowns when the operating system starts and stops. I have tried various graphic environments, but the loading and switching off of the system is the same. In the same pc I also use heavy distributions, like ubuntu lts, and I have not slowered. My distro for 8 years has always been Debian and the startup and shutdown speed is superior with heavy graphics environment. I have removed all unnecessary startup services, but I have not solved the problem. I would not belittle this nice distribution, but I would like it to improve in these imperfections, and in fact I've been using it for a few weeks and I've been waiting for Debian.

You could run systemd-analyze blame from terminal and look what takes so long to boot.

You should also be more specific in what you have removed so far and why. Stating slow boot times is not enough to trouble shoot without more information.
