GUI responsivenes is a separate and more subjective matter and depends more on the window manager you choose, the good news is that you can choose after installing or through different Fedora "spins", lightweight alternatives are Fedora XFCE or Fedora LXDE.
You should be ok with drivers, which are more of a concern for very modern hardware than for old hardware.
I presume you will be using the computer for browsing internet. I find this a more critical point, for the resources consumed by Firefox and/or Chrome. I find memory to be the most demanded resource.
