Boot loop in f29

Hi, I am new to Fedora, so please excuse any noobness.

I just installed Fedora 29 on my desktop (had issues with the live USB booting the installer that may have been related to this, so I had to downgrade to 22 and do incremental release upgrades), but now when I try and boot, I can't get past the grub screen. Soon as I boot into the current kernel, it crashes and reboots the system. I can boot into the recovery 22 image, but none of the others.

I tried doing a verbose boot, but it crashes before being able to see anything. And adding nomodeset to the boot options, and that hung the system.

Researching it, it looks like a lot of people had similar issues with their video drivers, but those seems mostly around nvidia drivers, and I have a AMD A8-5600K APU with a Radeon HD 7560D. My understanding is that the Radeon drivers are already included in the kernel.

I also checked the systemd journals, and the only error that I found in the bad boots was systemd[1]: Job var-lib-nfs-rpc_pipefs.mount/stop deleted to break ordering cycle starting with

Any ideas about troubleshooting this better or ideas?

Update: I was able to fix this by adding nohz=off to the boot options
