Install fedora from fedora
I have Fedora 29 on an external disk (amongst others), and I want to install Fedora on another PC, can I just boot on my external drive, and install the PC from there ?
I tried to launch Anaconda, but could not make it work from my "non liveinstall" Fedora. I also saw febootstrap, but do not seem to be maintained and does not provides a complete installation like Anaconda.
How can I install Fedora from an already installed Fedora ?
And if I want to bootstrap a Fedora installation in a virtual machine for any version of Fedora, how do you do it ?
As a personal experiment, one time I installed Arch Linux the way you describe. It was successful, but it was much more trouble than just installing from an ISO image.
Yes sure, it's just a livecd requires to download the image and to use an other usb key. It would be convenient to have a tool or a simple procedure to do that from an already installed Fedora.
the package you seek is "livecd-tools" . Make your running Fedora installation into an iso and boot or install it somewhere else.
ATTN: This is not how BACKUPS are down, if that was your intention.
