Screen share to smart tv?
Hi, is it possible to share my screen / extend screen through WIFI into my LG Smart tv? I can do this on Windows 10 (wireless screens)
If so, where do I start?

I am not test it; because I am using a ChromeCast and Vlc; but you can use Kodi... Check the video; the GUI is similar to Win10 version... VIDEO HERE
Install it from Rpmfusion or UnitedRPMs...
Some Samsung TVs have the Steam Link App. Using this, you can share Steam games and actually also any program from a Linux PC. With other TVs, you could use the (now discontinued) Steam Link box.

1) Do you have an HDMI port open on your PC? Make sure it's not the DisplayPort, which is similar, but is not symmetrical. 2) What video card do you have? Run lspci | grep -i --color 'vga\|3d\|2d'. 3) Also collect the make & model of your PC off the serial # plate. Then, when you have that info, come back here and add it all to your question with edit.
Sorry. I want to do it through wifi. On windows I click screen share, click wireless screens, and then search for my TV. Could it be something called Miracast?
Windows works fine
Open a Terminal window, type lshw -C network and press Enter. If this gives an error message, you may need to install the lshw program on your computer.Look through the information that appeared and find the Wireless interface section, then click on edit under your question and advise what kind of WiFi adapter is in your PC.
