I am able to start and run Fedora 29 in live mode, but when I try to install Fedora on HD, Fedora is not able to find any drives. Has anybody experiences installing Fedora 29 on a Lenovo P1? Did I miss something, e.g. do I have to enable/disable specific BIOS settings etc?
It seem that the problem was the external DVD drive. I switched to start via USB-Stick. When I execute 'ls /dev/sd*', I get '/dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb', and during install I can see the drives. Unfortunately the system freezes after some time, but this is another ticket.
OK, that means that Fedora could see all the partitions on your HDD, plus the Flash drive. Try booting your computer, plugging in the DVD drive and running that command again, to see if Fedora picks it up. Even though you've gotten F 29 installed, you still want to find out if there's anything wrong with that internal drive.
The result is /dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb

Welcome to ask.fedora! From the LiveUSB, open a terminal and run this:
ls /dev/sd*and post the results in a comment. This will show you all partitions, even if they're not mounted. Before we try to fix this, we need to make sure Fedora can see them.
