SynPS/2 Synaptic Touchpad recognized but not working in Fedora 29
Hello. I have a MSI PS42 laptop running Fedora 29 but touchpad doesn't work. What is strange is that touchpad is recognized, as it is shown by libinput list-devices command:
Device: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad
Kernel: /dev/input/event6
Group: 10
Seat: seat0, default
Size: 96x53mm
Capabilities: pointer gesture
Tap-to-click: disabled
Tap-and-drag: enabled
Tap drag lock: disabled
Left-handed: disabled
Nat.scrolling: disabled
Middle emulation: disabled
Calibration: n/a
Scroll methods: *two-finger edge
Click methods: *button-areas clickfinger
Disable-w-typing: enabled
Accel profiles: none
Rotation: n/a
In Gnome's control panel (Mouse section) touchpad appears too.
So everything seems ok but cursor doesn't move and clicks aren't done.
Have you any clues? Thanks a lot
Have you checked with touchpad enable and disable key in your keyboard?
OH MY GOD!!! Thanks a lot!!!! What a silly thing! Sorry. Thanks, thanks thanks!!
