fedora 29 stuck with logo 'f'
environment: Windows 10 1809 / Hyper-v'
Installing 'Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-29-1.2.iso' all ok! 'dnf update' (approx 500packages) all ok! 2nd 'dnf update' (1 pack. 4 updates) all ok i.e. no errors!
.... no problem to work (right after above installs) with fedora 29 UNTIL I 'turn off' (first time !)
and want to 'reboot' (1st time after install!): Starting/connecting to fedora all seems ok. The 'f'-Logo develops.Afterwards the 'f' screen stays!
Found several forum tickets! no help ... 'Ctrl+alt+F2' does NOT bring a 'terminal' thanks for your time and hints, ed
Hit the Escape key, and then what happens?
FWIW, the recovery kernel works for me to boot into single user. Planning to take a look at logs via that sometime today.
I'm running into this same problem, wondering if you were able to find a solution.
