Hi, I have installed fedora workstation 29 and while updating it says failed to synchronize "root google-chrome" disabling third party repository and I enabled it but it wont works and it shows in repolist too it is disbabled.
It could be temporary connection error to google-chrome repository. This repo contains Google Chrome browser which you hopefully can live without, at least for a while. It should not affect other repositories.
I'd ignore this error for some time (couple of days or a week), wait and see if it resolves on it's own. If it doesn't (and you need Google Chrome) then there are some things you can try... I'll offer what I can when/if you need it.
