Welcome to ask.fedora. Fedora policy is that once a version of Fedora reaches End Of Life it receives no more updates, upgrades or patches, even for security issues. That doesn't mean that a third-party package won't get updated, but any such updates won't be added to the official Fedora repositories; you'd have to get them directly from the maintainer. Also, it doesn't mean that you won't get any advice, suggestions or other support for that version. Unlike with some (unnamed) distros, the Fedora is ready, willing and able to do what they can even with versions that are officially EOL.

Thanks for the welcome, and the detailed reply.

I like the quote "...the Fedora is ready willing and able..." from the answer.

It's nice to know "The fedora" is on my side in life. :)

In conclusion, I'll just upgrade my system and follow this patchwork for the Fedora to keep it hole free.

Thanx; that should have been "the Fedora community," but I'll leave it as is.

If product = EOL then no patch is delivered at all, no matter if bugfix or security or ...

Oh nothing at all. I had loaded this page before you had written your answer and realized that there wasn’t answer only after submitting mine. So, not intentionally posting the same answer, not the intention to copy your thoughts. I should maybe refresh pages before writing an answer. I’ll delete my answer after you have read this comment. Cheers!

Oh, OK. No need to delete it, as it just confirms the answer. No problem.
