I recently found that LUKS mounts are quite slower than predicted. In this question https://superuser.com/questions/13821... I was told to load the AES module,

Does such AES module exists in Fedora 28. How do I load? Is this going to help?

Look for it inside

/usr/lib/modules/4.kernelversionnumbers/kernel/crypto

It's called aes_ti.ko.xz

Yes, it is there, should I load it manually with sudo modprobe -v aes_ti and expect faster access speeds?

It should be picked up automatically. What cpu do you have?

@ed209, Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz × 8 Intel® Ivybridge Mobile . How can I check if the module is loaded. When I do sudo modprobe -v aes_ti I get insmod /lib/modules/4.18.17-200.fc28.x86_64/kernel/crypto/aes_ti.ko.xz.
