I am rolling Fedora29 server across my systems, but have a blocker with one physical server. As soon as the anaconda gui appears, it crashes with an unknown error at /usr/lib/python3.7/site-packages/blivet/populator/helpers/mdraid.py at line 124 (md_uuid = md_info.uuid).

The raid arrays have been around for several releases, and each previous upgrade has just used the same arrays. Fedora28 installed just fine, but Fedora29 crashes.

From FC28:

[root@x ~]# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1] [raid10]

md1 : active raid1 sdc1[3] sda1[0] sde1[4] sdb1[1] sdd1[2] sdf1[5]
      307136 blocks [6/6] [UUUUUU]

md2 : active raid10 sdc2[6] sdb2[1] sdd2[3] sda2[0] sde2[4] sdf2[5]
      8789480448 blocks super 1.2 512K chunks 2 offset-copies [6/6] [UUUUUU]
      bitmap: 4/66 pages [16KB], 65536KB chunk

md5 : active raid10 sdc3[0] sde3[2] sdd3[1] sdf3[3]
      5860247552 blocks super 1.2 512K chunks 2 offset-copies [4/4] [UUUU]
      bitmap: 0/44 pages [0KB], 65536KB chunk

At the point of the crash I can see that the raid arrays are running as listed above. /boot is in md1, and / and swap are LVMs within a VG that includes PVs md2 & md5.

Has anyone found this, and/or got any idea how to diagnose and workaround? (I have tried adding rd.auto but no change).

Many thanks, Chris
