Folks I was expecting the F29 upgrade to be kernel version 4.19 but what I see is :

uname -r

4.18.16-300.fc29.x86_64

Did my upgrade fail partially or is this the new kernel release with F29.

Thanks! G0bble

Fedora 29 uses kernel 4.18. Kernel 4.19 is being tested in rawhide version of fedora.

Hmm.. I believe the original plan was to ship with 4.19 ...

This version will also be the shipping kernel for Fedora 29 From https://communityblog.fedoraproject.o...

Still not stable I guess?

Usually a Fedora release gets rebased when kernel reaches update .3 or .4. So, just wait a couple of weeks and you will get it 4.19
