Looks like the spambots found out how to comment on ask.fedoraproject.org. I have seen this in other forums too.

As a moderator, I've let them through if and only if they seem relevant to the question. It's hard to say, sometimes, if it's spam or not and when to let a post through. Suggestions?

if it contains web links or phone numbers to paid support, then I would consider that spam.

I started out like that too, but I've gotten less strict. If the question's about getting a printer to work, offering a link to OEM support may be appropriate. Of course, if the comment/answer is posted by somebody who's username or email address makes it clear they work for the printer's company, that's different. If we're going to ban all such posts as spam, we need to make it plain to all posters that such links are forbidden.

All spam and scam! I’m not a moderator but I have even deleted such posts in the past. This site is not meant for advertising any commercial services.
