I had fedora installed and then reinstalled Windows (I had 64 bit Win 7 installed initially, but it turned out I needed 32-bit, so I installed that over the 64-bit partition). Obviously Win 7 "fixed" the bootloader to boot only Win 7. So I booted Fedora LiveCD and did grub2-install /dev/sda, but now all I get is

error: no such device: 2104d1fa....
error: unknown filesystem
entering rescue mode.

I ended up just reinstalling Fedora over the same partition and now the bootloader works correctly. However, it would still be nice to know a solution for this. I don't want to have to reinstall if I run into this problem in the future, having tweaked my fedora install.
