in LO, when I click on File|print or File|Printer Settings, the program closes instantly. I tried renaming the 'libreoffice' directory under "~/myUser/config/", resetting all the settings, with no effect. This happened after a printer was installed, but in other programs I can print without any issue (acrobat, Firefox) Any ideas?

Run it from the command line and find out what the error is.

Are you using the latest update of LibreOffice? If no, please update it and all the other software on your computer first. If yes, use the automated bug reporting tool to generate a bug report. You will need a login to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/. The backtrace contains important information needed by LibreOffice developers to fix this bug. In my opinion, they are quite fast at fixing bugs.

rpm -q libreoffice-writerwill give you the version of LibreOffice. You may compare it with the versions on https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packag....

If you are interested in analyzing the backtrace locally, run coredumpctl to list coredumps and coredumpctl gdb [PID] to get a backtrace. You will need to install debug symbols as explained by the gdb output.
