Hi, I can't connect to my nextcloud server using gnome online accounts. Upon entering the uri and username/password I get a blue box with the following message : "Code: 6 -- Unexpected response from server".

I've had this problem with Fedora 26, 27 and 28 with my three computers and with my account as well my wife's. The server is perfectly accessible via a web browser and the Nextcloud sync client app is working perfectly : the only problem is with gnome online accounts refusing to connect for some reason.

My server runs on my lan in nginx with https (sslforfree/certbot) and I'm using duckdns (but my router automatically route to the local IP for requests on the lan side), anyway : everything is working just fine and my files are syncing, only Gnome, for some reason, refuses to connect.

I can't find anything on google, seems like I'm the only one with this error (other people can log in, they have problems once inside nautilus but I can't get that far).

Hello, I don't have an answer but I noticed you are talking about Gnome in the text of your question whereas the title mentions google instead. You might want to fix the title. Good luck for the real problem (can you see any nginx logs when trying to connect through Gnome?).

Thanks for the heads-up, that's why you shouldn't ask anything when you're angry and it's past midnight. No nginx log on trying to connect, good idea for a precision.
