antergos + virt-manager under wayland => no pointer

So with virt-manager (qemu) under fedora 28 with wayland session, it seems that the pointer doesn't seem to be captured correctly with an antergos VM(livecd). If I passthrough a mouse, then there is no pointer printed but the mouse seems to work correctly since it highlight menu items and things like that inside the VM.

With a fedora 28 vm there is no problem, the vm is acting correctly.

is it a qemu incompatibility? virt-manager incompatibility? Or is it related to wayland in some way?
