Using Fedora 27 (and 28) on my 4K laptop, occasionally an application shows text in a tiny typeface. For example, I finally got TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim to start (from this question). But it is unproductively small (shown overlaying the ask.fedoraproject screen):

tinythinkorswimdialog

A few other applications also exhibit this kind of behavior. For example, the Fedora repository's Ball Buster game (if this image seems confused, it is because it is doubly meta): image description

Neither of these apps seem to allow resizing, at least by dragging the window side/corner or double-clicking on the title bar: the action is either ignored or the apps already believe they are maximized.

Yes, thanks. I used a magnifying glass and was thrilled to find settings and font size choices. I set it to "Extra Large" and it is now quite usable. Still have the problem with old games though....

Why not go full screen/windowed? It's the fourth option on the main screen.

When you say "fourth option on the main screen" what screen do you mean?

When the application loads, the credits show first, then the main screen shows where you're able to select options on the left side of the screen (and high scores are on the right side). When it's in demo mode just move the mouse/pointer over the screen and the options/high scores show up.

Thanks, that is better. I tried to use the keyboard arrows and it ignores those. It doesn't respond to the mouse pointer. Unfortunately it is extremely sensitive to movement. It will take a new height of skills to be able to play the game. +1.

This looks very much like a bug in the original application. You should report a bug there.
