HP x2 2-in-1 touchpad (FIXED) and sound issues... [closed]
Hi all, this is my first post and I am doing it here in Fedora, because Fedora 28 (just installed fresh) is the only version of Linux so far that recognizes my battery status. Yay!
My model number is 10-p018wm. HP x2 detachable tablet laptop...
There has been a list of issues since I started on Windows and went straight over to Linux. I didn't care to keep Win10 because it is terribly slow on this little 2 in 1 laptop tablet deal.
I have seen these issues on the forums across all flavors of Linux: sound not working, wifi (no issues here), touchpad (only annoying thing for me that doesn't work is two finger scrolling), battery monitoring (it works, unlike Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu), and repetitive hangs (I had them on Ubuntu, but no other flavors...).
Really, what I am asking about is if there is a solution for two finger scroll and sound now that we are in 2018? I have seen many posts from 2016-2017, but nothing recently about these issues... Thanks in advance, and I am excited to finally find a version that supports my battery!
Two finger scroll is working with updates, but audio is still broken... I also noticed that 90 degree rotation is not entirely working... It will rotate to the same screen resolution 180 degrees out.
