VPN password

I am using VPN and while connecting to it a dialogue box appears and it asks password . I saved the password but it again asks me to enter the password . What is going wrong ?

The first password allows you to connect to the VPN server. You should then need to enter a user password to access the desktop.

paulandmarg is most likely correct, but we'll probably need more information to see what's wrong here either way.

If you edit VPN connection in NetworkManager, you can check if connection's password is saved or set to be always asked for while connecting - those settings are accessed through an icon in password field.
