How to delete fedora server

asked 2018-07-02 12:10:35 -0600

I just recently downloaded the fedora 28 server, assuming it would be like the Ubuntu desktop OS. Now I am getting a text only display, no graphical interface. If I can't get a display, i have to delete fedora to return to my previous operating system, but I don't have an option to change the boot options. I installed a DVD, but fedora doesn't read the disc automatically. if I go to the terminal, and type exit, it will give an option to install from the DVD, but it doesn't actually install the new operating system. How do I revert back to my previous operating system if it doesn't give me the option?

Your description is confusing.

If you haven't installed from DVD yet, then just unload the DVD and everything is back to what it was.

If you want something like Ubunto Desktop, you should get the Fedora Desktop and not the Fedora Server.
