Facebook Messenger for Desktop
I'm trying to use Facebook Messenger for Desktop with Fedora 28. I've tried simply running the 64 bit RPM install (I have a 64 bit OS) provided at the official website: https://messengerfordesktop.com/#down...
The install appears to work fine. I get the app icon showing up in the Fedora app menu after the install but when I try to launch the application, it simply does nothing. Nothing shows up on the screen, it just goes nowhere.
Any thoughts?
Shows to be an independent app, no affiliation to Facebook. is the app open source? Not sure how we can help. Check this one out, click here.
Interesting and thank you for the link to Caprine. This one works just fine on Fedora. I've used messenger for desktop on several other distros before and it always just worked. But I'll use Caprine now. It's essentially the same thing.
