Getting Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
I will start from the beginning. First I downloaded Fedora-Server-dvd-x86_64-28-1.1.iso image from Fedora. After that was finished I used Rufus 2.7.855 to create a bootable usb for Fedora Server 28.
After Rufus was finished creating my live usb I went and installed Fedora Server 28 on my machine.
After installing I was going to install updates/upgrades and the following is what I kept getting.
[root@localhost ~]# dnf upgrade
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
[root@localhost ~]# dnf update
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
[root@localhost ~]# dnf clean all
0 files removed
[root@localhost ~]# dnf update
Error: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'fedora-modular'
[root@localhost ~]#
I don't even know where to begin at correcting this issue since it is basically something that happened out of the box, so to speak.
The following is what I did after posting the above information.
[root@localhost ~]# ping google.com
ping: google.com: Name or service not known
[root@localhost ~]# ping www.google.com
