Improving Fedora performance in VM
Hi,
I'm using Fedora 28 64 bit with Gnome. I use Virtualbox but I can also evaluate to change. The problem is that even if I have as host OS Windows 10 or Fedora itself doesn't matter, performance are always low, to browse I even have troubles with 5-7 tabs. This with a Debian doesn't happen for example, same with Arch but depends, what can I do to improve the performance? A part a lot of Ram that Fedora uses, the problem is also the CPU, too much in use respect to Debian, as well as the Ram, 400mb against 1GB once booted.
Is this normal or I'm simply using the wrong distro as VM desktop usage? My goal is also to see some video there, normal multitasking with many word and excel file etc, but nothing special.
I can confirm that anyway also as host OS requires many resources compared to Debian, of course by default has more packages/compatibility etc but I don't see a real reason to require so high performance.
