That is probably the effect of the bit memory leak of gnome. For more info search google for
"gnome memory leak"
.Try to run
top
,htop
or System Monitor GUI app to see what is taking so much resources...@villykruse That's not probably it. It takes me a week of uptime to get to 1GB RAM usage for Gnome (this is the memory leak).
