fedora 28 touchpad right click not working

I had Fedora 27 on my laptop and the touchpad worked very well. After I upgraded to Fedora 28 my touchpad stopped to work correctly. It doesn't work well even on the Fedora 28 live dvd.

Both touchpad buttons (left and right) work as if they were a mouse left click, I tried to change this in the configurations but nothing there worked. The middle also works as a left click.

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 14 P74G.

Does anyone there knows how to solve that?

That’s by design. Gnome in Fedora 28 now uses some Mac OS X type of right click, called clickfinger. Place a second finger on the touchpad and you’ll get back your right click.

See : and

Actually, Gnome 3.28 Release Notes also mention this new feature.

gnome-tweak-tool allows you to change the mouse and touchpad behaviour...

Go to gnome tweak tool, there select Keyboard & Mouse, in that see the last option Mouse Click Emulation, from there you can set the Mouse preferences according to your need.

Thanks, this worked for me on a Lenovo for Fedora 29. I used the "area" option for the "mouse click emulation" setting for getting back the middle and right mouse buttons.
