Fonts on Fedora 27 (en 28) are renderend 'wrong' in Firefox but I have no clue as to why that is.

Left is Firefox, right is Chrome: Firefox to Chrome In Chrome everything seems fine but in Firefox it's looking.. anti-anti-aliased?

This is my font.conf which I already had to edit for Calibri to render correctly and some solution I found online but didn't do anything at all :-D :

<match target="font">
  <edit name="autohint" mode="assign">
     <bool>true</bool>
  </edit>
  <edit name="hinting" mode="assign">
     <bool>true</bool>
  </edit>
  <edit mode="assign" name="hintstyle">
     <const>hintslight</const>
  </edit>
  <edit name="antialias" mode="assign">
     <bool>true</bool>
  </edit>
  <edit name="embeddedbitmap" mode="assign">
    <bool>false</bool>
  </edit>
</match>

Any ideas? It's driving me mad. (also: is this really the place to edit the .conf file? It gets overwritten with updates =() Update: last question seems to be that you best create a local.conffile next to the font.conf
