I have a 10 bits monitor and I'm trying to get Xorg to work with 30 bits... But apart from 24 or 16 I get a red screen that turns black at the end, but I can see the mouse. Any idea? I'm using a i7 6700 gpu.

my current working xorg.conf:

I don't know what X will do if only one monitor can support 30 bit output. I also wonder if KDE supports that mode. There used to be a problem with that.

I'm finding everything so confuse, it appears near "everything" is supporting at last with not so much a fatal error by what I've seen in all the news about mesa 18 now suporting RGB10 and all tests made in DEs and so on on commits reviews like https://lists.freedesktop.org/archive... I even updated to 28 to see how is it going and still the same error even with mesa 18.1-dev packages.
