What license does Fedora uses?
Just wondering what license Fedora uses? According to WTFPL website, it states that Fedora is under WTFPL. Is this true? http://www.wtfpl.net/faq/

Software in Fedora is available under various open source licences, probably mostly under GNU GPL.
More information about licences allowed by Fedora can be found here -- https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licens...
There probably is some software under WTFPL in Fedora repositories, but Fedora itself is not.
The licence is a joke, but is is still valid opensource licence and some projects use it. And the website doesn't claim that Fedora is under WTFPL, it says:
Every major Linux distribution (Debian, Fedora, Arch, Gentoo, etc.) ships software licensed under the WTFPL,
so it just says that there are some packages under WTFPL in Fedora repo and that is true -- we have for example libcaca
in our repos and it is licenced under WTFPL.
I checked that website and didn't see Fedora listed but didn't look too hard. However, to answer your question, whoever runs that site can claim whatever they want, but that doesn't make it true.
